Summer Vacation Science Class 2025

Introduction
Eligitel Summer Science Experiment Workshop for Kids 2025 will be held as a special event for kindergarten and elementary school students in Matsudo City.
The event is planned and organized by Eligitel Inc. (based in Matsudo City), a company engaged in research and consulting specializing in the field of telecommunications.
Participation is free of charge.
Optical communication technology is used in the internet, smartphones, and many other forms of communication.
In this workshop, children will learn about how communication works by building their own optical communication device and experiencing “communication through light.”
Through this event, we aim to inspire curiosity and a spirit of scientific inquiry.
Parents and children can enjoy the experience together and use it as a summer science project.

Event Overview
Date and Time: Sunday, August 3, 2025, 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. (Reception starts at 1:45 p.m.)
Venue: Matsudo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, 4th Floor, Medium Conference Room
1879-1 Matsudo, Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture (6-minute walk from Matsudo Station)
Participation Fee: Free
Target Participants: Children from kindergarten (age 4–5) to grade 6
Children in grade 3 or below must be accompanied by a guardian.
Capacity: 15 children (plus guardians)

Music player with an earphone jack (if available)
Music will be played during the experiment.
Clothing: Clothes that can get dirty

Theme: Let’s Communicate with Light!
Using visible light, we will transmit sound to a distant place.
Come and experience optical communication together!
Perfect as a summer science project, too.

By participating, you agree to allow photos of the event to be taken and used by Eligitel Inc. for press releases and promotional materials for future workshops.
